{"id":59,"date":"2009-03-07T09:09:51","date_gmt":"2009-03-07T15:09:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.speedofdark-thebook.com\/blog\/?p=59"},"modified":"2009-03-07T09:13:24","modified_gmt":"2009-03-07T15:13:24","slug":"more-good-news-for-the-book","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.speedofdark-thebook.com\/blog\/?p=59","title":{"rendered":"More good news for the book"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.schreiner.edu\/\">Schreiner University<\/a> in Kerrville, Texas invited me to come speak to them in September.\u00a0 No firm date yet.<\/p>\n<p>Reminder that I&#8217;ll be doing a teleconference appearance at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.howardcc.edu\/\">Howard Community College<\/a> in Maryland because I couldn&#8217;t make that trip (and that turned out to be lucky, as the pneumonia I had upset everything and I&#8217;m even more in crunch mode now.)\u00a0\u00a0 That&#8217;s March 31.\u00a0\u00a0 I did the equipment compatibility test yesterday.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t have the right stuff at home, so <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ctcd.edu\">Central Texas College<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ctcd.edu\"><\/a> is handling things on this end.\u00a0\u00a0 They have a large telecommunications program and run the local PBS station from the campus.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s another probable appearance in August, but I have not heard back from the organizers that it&#8217;s &#8220;for sure&#8221; yet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas invited me to come speak to them in September.\u00a0 No firm date yet.
